Growth ambitions for a local producer entering the retail market.
Primarily a food service offering, Longridge garlic wanted to expand the business into new channels. The Brand Depot was tasked to develop their branding and packaging design suitable for retailing in supermarkets. The design needed to connect with it’s customers through a value-add story.
We focused on highlighting the health benefits of garlic and the brand’s superior taste as a result of being processed locally. We advised on renaming the brand to “Longridge Local” and came up with the very kiwi colloquialism “easy- as garlic”.
The personality driven, whimsical design reflects a fuss free and healthy cooking ingredient which makes meal time preparation easy.
